He is in the top class the highest level in a Nursery school here in Uganda. Benjamin is a keen learner and shows a lot of interest going to school. I already see a great change in Benjamin’s life compared to when he was in Soroti. In “Happy Kiddies” he is taught lots of things like; personal management, letter writing pronunciations, singing and socializing with other children. They play different types of games which help him in learning and memorizing certain things taught in class.
Benjamin leaves home at 6.00am every day and walks to school with his older step brother Brian. I pick him back home every day at 4.00pm. While at school they take porridge and have lunch. Benjamin plays football, ball passing, sack racing, bottle filling, bicycle riding, and he loves story telling. His best subjects are Math, English, Writing and Reading. He comes home with homework every day. He often tells me he wants to fly an airplane so that he reaches where God is. He admires children who are brought and picked by their parents in cars. He has on several occasions asked me why I can’t buy a car so that I can also take him to and from school by car. I want to thank you Eveline and Seedling of Change for enabling me to pay for Benjamin’s school fees. On my own I wouldn’t manage with the little secretarial work I do to earn a living. Thank you Seedlings of Change for helping me and the community with projects that will transform our lives.
